This site is not far from Central London, and was once a car garage workshop. It has now been redeveloped to accommodate four top end luxury apartments on four floors. The site had Contiguous Piles sunk around the perimeter so that the full site footprint could be incorporated into the build.
The early photographs show the piles and the water proof capping beam being constructed, and the excavation part way complete.
The basement retention walls and water proofing is a highly technical operation, requiring a full Structural programme combined with a water proofing scheme designed by Landmarks to BS8102 standard using Triton Chemicals, which offers an insurance backed TUG Warranty.
This project was completed on target at the end of 2015.
